Zhengfei Bian


Public Health: Health of an Aging Society certificate

Zhengfei Bian is a Master of Public Health student in Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University, pursuing the Health of an Aging Society certificate. With a background in Financial Mathematics and Systems Engineering, she is interested in how the built environment interacts with aging populations and caregivers to promote health, comfort, and well-being, especially for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Her research in the Belsky Lab focuses on the relationship between air pollution exposure and biomarkers of aging, particularly the Pace of Aging (PoA) measure derived from the Health and Retirement Study. Outside of work, she enjoys easy hiking and sleeping in.
