Weiqi Liang
Biostatistics
Weiqi is a Master of Science student in Biostatistics at Columbia University. With a strong foundation in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, her research interests are interdisciplinary, spanning environmental science and healthcare data analysis. Her work on the COVID-19 pandemic has been published in the Journal of Cleaner Production.
She is currently working on a project based on the Framingham Heart Study, where she incorporates medication use into longitudinal models to differentiate medication-induced biomarker changes from aging-related changes, with the goal of quantifying the biological rate of aging. In her free time, she enjoys creating 3D digital artworks.
