Rob Shekoyan

Biological Sciences

Rob Shekoyan is an M.A. student in the Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He is developing computational inference pipelines to identify upstream regulators of aging in human clinical datasets. His research focuses on uncovering drivers of cell state such as transcription factors, signaling ligands, or biological pathway that contribute to aging and shape responses to therapeutic or lifestyle interventions.

Previously, Rob conducted research at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute and led Harvard’s iGEM team. He plans to pursue a PhD investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying age-related diseases, with the goal of using computational inference tools to identify novel therapeutic targets.
