Jiwon Bae

Data Science (DSI)

Jiwon is a Master of Science student in Data Science at Columbia University. She works on constructing and harmonizing large-scale longitudinal biomarker datasets across multiple study waves to support research on biological aging. Her work emphasizes data quality, reproducible preprocessing pipelines, and aligning biomarker measurements to enable robust downstream modeling of aging trajectories.

Before joining the lab, Jiwon conducted research in machine learning and causal inference, working on projects that applied statistical and computational methods to health, policy, and behavioral data. She is broadly interested in biological aging, multimodal data analysis, and developing rigorous, interpretable methods that bridge data science and public health.
