Faria Tavacoli
Faria Tavacoli is an undergraduate student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas pursuing a double major in Public Health and Neuroscience. She is passionate about advancing health equity through research at the intersection of aging, dementias, and social determinants of health, with a focus on how early life adversity shapes long term outcomes across the life course. Faria is a participant in the Frontiers in Alzheimer’s and Aging Research Experiences (FrA2RE) program, where she is working with Dr. Belsky’s lab to map Alzheimer’s disease risk factors in longitudinal cohort studies and examine their connections to biomarkers of aging. In the future, she hopes to continue exploring opportunities in research and health that address disparities in aging populations. In her spare time, Faria enjoys skateboarding and crocheting.
